Academic Shoot Reflection/ Critique

1. During this shoot, I found it difficult to include the rules of competition while taking pictures.
2. When taking pictures I found myself spending a lot of time making sure my photo was in focus and i did this by zooming in and out and twisting the lens to get the picture in focus.
3. If I were to do this shoot again I would be less afraid to get up close to people and situations because that is the best way to fill of the frame and thats how you show emotion on a picture.
4. I would take pictures of the same things that I did during this shoot because I like the subjects in my pictures.
5. I think balance is one of the easiest rules to apply to because it is easy to find something that is equal on both sides of the picture.
6. I think simplicity is one of the hardest rules to follow because the backgrounds of classes are often very busy and there are a lot of colorful distractions all over the room.
7. I still don't completely understand framing. Does framing have to have something in the foreground going all the way around the picture or is it just anything in the foreground to give the picture depth.
