Africa Extra Credit
1) After looking at the Africa pictures, I found it interesting how the animals were mostly in groups. This presented the animals in a way that makes them look like a real family. I also noticed how the photographers used pictures that had a cool sky in the background with an animal in the foreground. The sky added nice details and made the pictures very appealing.
3) This is my favorite picture by Nick Brandt because of how eye catching this picture is. Inside the picture there are 2 rhinos on a lake with some mountains in the background. The rhinos are standing on a shallow lakes which is very unusual because lakes are normally deeper. I also like it because the sky looks very pretty.
4) Lines are in the background as diagonal rays of light come down from the sky. There are also lines on the water that go from one side of the picture to the other. There is also asymmetrical balance in the picture because both rhinos are one side and the mountains in the background are on the other side of the picture.
5) I believe Nick Brandt uses a P67 120mm Soft Focus Lens. This camera allows him to take very crisp pictures that can either have a blurry background or have the entire picture in focus.
6) Nick Brandt takes these kinds of pictures because he wanted to show the true personality of these animals by showing them in a calm state.
7) He hopes that people will see how caring and calm these wild animals can be.
8) If you go to South America, you can shoot one rare animal, if you go to another place, you can shoot another rare animal. Eastern Africa – one of the few places in the world where the animal world is represented in all its diversity.
9) His current goal is to educate people about the destruction of nature and different animal's homes.
10) He found unpublished photos and put them on a giant frame and put them at different sights where some kind of construction was happening.
11) I think his work can inspire people to take better care of the environment because he has brought it to our attention that it is happening to places of the word that we might not know about.
12) These new images make made me feel sad and disappointed because I know once we destroy the environment, we can never get it back. Seeing these animals without a home is also sad because I want nature to thrive.
Amusement Park Extra Credit
1) I would like to visit Takakanonuma Greenland, Hobara, Japan the most out of all the theme parks. I chose this park because of the overgrown trees and plants inside of the theme park. I think it would be cool to shoot pictures of machinery overwhelm with plant life. I also think it would be cool to take pictures of plant life and other vegetation along with the rustic meta of the park to provide contrast.
3) -Patagonia, Argentina -Bamboo Forest -Different murals around a city -Small natural streams -On top of a parking garage downtown

5) I think it would be fun to take pictures there because of the natural beauty that this location possesses. I would like to shoot different pictures of nature and people interacting with nature. I would also like to shoot different lake and bodies of water because they make super cool pictures. There are a lot of lakes in Argentina where I would be shooting.
6) It would take a lot of preparation to go on the necessary trip to Argentina. I would need a lot of warm and cool clothes because the weather in the area varies a lot. The plane ticket and housing there is also rather expensive.
